Rob is a Founder and President of Simple-Fill. An entrepreneur with over 15 years commercializing technologies in the energy sector, his prior roles include Finance Director of solid-oxide fuel cell developer Nexceris, Finance Director of Battelle spin-off Velocys and in-country Managing Director for Montana de Luz, a hospice for children with HIV/AIDS in Honduras. Prior to that, he has been fortunate to have a variety of leadership roles at GE, Greif and KPMG. Rob has Certificates in Financial Management and International Business from Stanford and University of Michigan, respectively, and a BS in Accounting from The Ohio State University.
Dr. Fabio Chiara
Dr. Fabio Chiara, a founder and one of the four original inventors of Simple-Fill's technology, is the Company’s Chief Technical Officer. Fabio joined Simple-Fill full-time in 2015 after working for 10 years at the Center for Automotive Research at The Ohio State University as a Research Scientist. His expertise lies in fluid and thermal sciences, energy conversion systems, internal combustion engines and dynamic systems and controls. Fabio received a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Catania, Italy in 2003 and earned his Ph.D. in energy systems from the University of Salento, Italy in 2007.
Wayne leads the venture acceleration and investments teams at Rev1 Ventures, a seed-stage venture development organization that combines investment capital and strategic services to help entrepreneurs build products people want and companies that succeed. Wayne has held similar roles in Oklahoma City and the Pacific Northwest, as well as managing seed stage venture funds. Wayne has B.S. in Natural Sciences from Western Oregon University and a M.S. in Urban Planning from the University of Oregon.
Joe is General Manager, Oil and Gas Equipment at Worthington Industries, a leading global diversified metals manufacturer. Prior to joining Worthington, Joe worked for PCM Inc., a $1.5 billion IT solutions provider, as the head of corporate development. He then spent two years serving as the president of the firm’s largest commercial subsidiary, SARCOM. Before joining PCM, Joe spent 10 years in investment banking, advising middle market companies on a range of industries. Joe has a Bachelor’s from Miami University (Ohio) and MBA from Duke.
Gregory R. Geib
Greg served as President and CEO of Ajinomoto Windsor Inc. from July 2005 to July 2015 where he led the growth and development of the business from a $40 million regional manufacturer and marketer to a $900 million consumer products business. Prior to joining Ajinomoto Windsor, he served as the EVP of PGI International, a manufacturer of specialty valves and safety equipment. From 1989 to 1991, Greg was employed by the General Electric Company. Greg received his MBA from Northwestern University and graduated cum laude from the Wharton School of Business with a Bachelor's of Science in Economics.
Don serves as a consultant to multiple start-up companies, individual inventors and a European-based technology development organization. Don has led multiple medical device start-ups as well as Inergia, Inc., which provided micro-combined heat & power systems in Europe. Don’s career started at Battelle Memorial Institute where, during his 36 years, he held a variety of positions including VP of Operations, Commercial Markets and several other senior management positions. Don holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a licensed PE in the State of Ohio.
